The Saffron Academy

In 2016, Saffron Insurance took their first cohort of talented young people, on a 360 degree learning and development programme through the client facing areas of the business. Over the 18 month period, each candidate spent 80% of their time learning day to day broking activities with involvement and interaction with our clients and insurers. Their remaining time allowed them to study towards a professional qualification.  

Our first cohort have now successfully completed their journey through the business, acquired their Cert CII qualification, and are now settling into their permanent roles. Toby Fellows has joined our Small Commercial Team, Henry Farrelly within the Private Client team, and Sophie Fletcher is currently on secondment with R&Q Insurance.

We are very pleased to welcome our second cohort to Saffron, Billy Godsmark, Macy Thompson and Fazal Kapasi. Billy and Macy are currently spending time with our consumer teams and Fazal is with our Helpdesk IT department.
